Thornbridge Brewery ….
…. story began back in 2005 when the founders Jim Harrison and Simon Webster recruited two young brewers to brew on a second hand 10-barrel kit in the grounds of Thornbridge Hall, a grade II listed building situated in Ashford in the Water, Derbyshire.
The original Thornbridge Brewery was based in a converted joiner’s and stonemason’s workshop within the grounds of Thornbridge Hall. The kit in the brewery was relocated in early 2021 to Thornbridge Brewery’s Riverside site.
Thornbridge knowledge in the craft beer scene means they are highly respected within the beer industry. Thornbridge recognises that not only quality but consistency and innovation are key to creating amazing and beautifully balanced beer. With over 350 Industry recognised awards we are proud to be part of such an exciting Craft Beer scene.
Thornbridge Hall is surrounded by 12 acres of quirky and quintessentially English gardens, set in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The gardens and Quackers Cafe are open to the public 7 days a week from 10-4 if you ever fancy a nice walk in the peak district.

Green Mountain is one of our most popular beers and our brewers knew they could create a fantastic alcohol free version which encompasses the same great juicy and tropical flavours of the original. After some detailed recipe development, we’re very happy with the results. It pours a beautiful hazy gold, with the classic aromas of mango and pineapple leading to a soft and well-rounded mouthfeel
